Master ofArts in Social Work (MSW) programme
The Centre and Dean’s office of Humanities and Social Sciences has agreed to house the MSW programme at CNAS since 2013. Behind the agreement to set up the programme at CNAS, there are two aims. First, since it is a Master’s programme, Tribhuwan University was interested to run this programme within the boundary of theUniversity Campus at Kirtipur. Even though the MSW programme does not have a Central Department at this moment, the future plan is to develop it as a Central Department of Tribhuwan University. Second, CNAS holds a relatively rich infrastructure to run classes immediately and to provide an excellent academic environment such asproviding the opportunity for publication in the CNAS Journal, Contributions to Nepalese Studies, which is one of the most circulated Nepali academic journals across the world since 1973.
